At least I found MA1000 gets up in lighter winds than I expected even though picking up speed was trickier in chop as too S. Better pitch control in lighter winds though got a few porpoise sessions, which once started hard to stop and end in disaster. Got a few port gybes and sailaways, and a few starboard gybes but no sailaways and I'll blame the inshore wind shadow.
Mast was at 9 and on last run went across a wave powered with wing and didn't get excess lift. Think gybes better as weighting front foot on exit, new foil = like starting again. Might try 10 next time.
Didn't feel as cold as expected even when I removed gloves as wing handles too tight.
